Keith’s 99 Mustang GT cruises the streets of the northeastern US states with one of our bulletproof 304 ci powerplants. After some recent paintwork and final dyno numbers, Keith sent us some updated photos and results to show here.
We started the foundation off with the best, an iron Boss big bore block, and filled it with DSS Pistons, Manley H-beam rods, a Cobra crank, and some Clevite bearings. The heads are Trickflow Track Heat with some mild cams to go with the stock plastic intake.
At 7000 rpm it scream to a peak of 26 psi and this YSi blown Shrader engine makes 775 rwhp and 622 lb/ft of tire-roasting torque! That’s on a dynojet with SAE correction factor.
