We’ve just released our much anticipated 6r80 Swap Guide, which gives you all the information you need to swap a 6r80 auto transmission into your 99-04 Mustang body while still using a 4.6L Mod Motor. Read more about our swap guide in this link!
BrightMare goes 9.33 at 146 mph
We finally got some good testing on our 6r80 swapped Two-Valve during the first annual Mod Nationals in Memphis. We still have a lot further to go, but we’re beginning to see some results from our 6r80 transmission swap that we’ve been working on for 3 years. We’re finally in the 5’s at the 1/8 mile and working on 8’s for the 1/4 very soon. And the car still has great street manners and cold A/C.
Most people in the Mustang and Camaro world know who YoloDouchebag is, but if you haven’t seen his hilarious videos, this is a good place to start. He takes a look at our rear seat delete kit in his 2011 Mustang 5.0. Warning: offensive language!
You can now easily mount a 6r80 auto transmission into a 99-04 Mustang body using our new all-aluminum brace! We are the only source for this brace, so if you are doing a Coyote engine swap into a New Edge Mustang, you’ll need this to save yourself a lot of headaches.
The popular Streetcar Takeover series came to zMax Dragway in 2016, and Brightmare, our well known shop car took home the title for the LS vs. Modular class winner with a 9.78 pass in the 1/4 mile race.
We are now providing remote custom tunes for the 2015-2016 Mustang GT which includes our exclusive Shrader Cammed Idle tune. Give your S550 Mustang the cam lope that it deserves.
We can also provide a speedometer calibration for nearly any vehicle in North Carolina, South Carolina or surrounding areas. We test your vehicle’s speedometer against the actual wheel speed to determine if there is a discrepancy. We provide you an official notarized report of our testing results. This is useful if you have a speeding ticket and need to verify if Defective Equipment was a factor.
NEW! We’ve combined our Rear Seat Delete.com site with our primary website, so you can easily find all of our Rear Seat Delete kits here under our Shrader Store. Same products, same quality, just a new look! Check out the store here at THE SHOP
We just finished our 2015 Mustang rear seat delete kit design and it is now in stock and ready to ship. Get more information here at THE SHOP
Another Sport Trac Adrenalin project under way
We’re at it again, with a different engine package for this AWD Adrenalin. This time we’re building a 323ci stroker modular engine with upgraded cams and it will be retaining the stock 6spd auto.
Our exclusive line of Rear Seat Delete kits just got even better! We’ve reduced the prices on our most popular kits for Mustang, Camaro, GTO, Fiat500, Scion IQ, Mini Cooper, and more. Visit our selection at our online store.
We added a new Dynojet 224x dynamometer in 2012 to serve our customers for dyno pulls and SCT custom tuning. Air Conditioned Shop with exhaust evacuation system for a more pleasant experience. Give us a call to get on the schedule!
The results are in from 5.0 Mustang Magazine’s King of the Street competition for 2012. We were the oldest car there, the only 2V engine, the only 4.6 engine, and we still managed to tie for 3rd place with 71 pts. Brightmare did well, with a 9.86 at 146 in the drag strip portion and put down 834 rwhp on Holley’s dynojet. Read the full article here!
BrightMare nearing parachute status
Another impressive track outing with our 2v Vortech Mustang. On June 9th at zMax Dragway we brought the car out for some passes on slicks. With the stock 3650 manual transmission (yes, stock), it went a 9.86 at 147 mph. That was with the V2 S-Trim Vortech at 17 psi, and a 150 shot of nitrous.
Keith’s ’99 GT features our Shrader-built 304ci mod motor with a Boss big bore block & Trickflow 2V heads. At 26 psi, this car recently put down 775 rwhp on 112 unleaded fuel using a Vortech YSi. Read more in the feature story in 5.0 Magazine’s April 2013 issue.
In case you didn’t know, Shrader Performance builds high quality Rear Seat Delete kits for 87-up Ford Mustangs, Chevy Camaros, Pontiac GTO, Mini Cooper, Fiat 500, Scion FRS, and lots more! Speed TV invited us to bring our yellow Mustang to a special episode of Pass Time in ’09 featuring racing celebrities as contestants. Casey Mears and his crew chief were our contestants, along with Ken Herring of course, guessing how fast we’d run. The car surprised everyone. This is an old engine combo that has now changed, but was still potent back then. YouTube video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfGKMUb1GCA
